Swegwayfun Terms & Conditions

Domestic  Customers:

If your Item is in stock it will ship within 1 business day of approved and cleared payment. Orders are processed in order of receipt and approved payment. If your item is not in stock or stock is depleted it will be backordered. Back ordering generally adds an additional 2-10 business days. If the item will not be in stock within the backorder time period, customer will have the option to wait for a back-order, modify the order, or cancel the order with a full refund.

Delivery Information:

All Domestic orders include Free Standard Shipping, excluding Belfast, Republic of Ireland, and outlying territories.

Under normal circumstances, your Item(s) will ship from our U.K Warehouse within 24-48 hours of your payment clearing. We only ship Monday through Friday.
Any in-stock orders placed Friday through Sunday will ship the following week.

General Terms:

All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. Prices are final as of time of an order. All products are shipped F.O.B. (Freight On Board) and become the sole property of the purchaser upon delivery to the specified shipping agent. In case of shipping damage, the customer should contact us immediately, so we can promptly file a damage claim with the carrier and expedite a replacement. Any discrepancy, including wrong items or missing items, should be reported to Swegwayfun within 36 hours. By purchasing from our web site, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to all terms and conditions. All brands and product names mentioned are trademarks and/or registered trademarks of their respective holders. Product images are for representation purposes only. Actual products may have slight cosmetic differences.

Items Damaged During Transit:

If you receive a damaged item, you must contact us within 7 days by calling 01474 247760, or by email at info@segwayfun.uk. If you do not contact us within this time period, your damage claim may be denied by the carrier. Customer assumes all responsibility for the damaged item before it is picked up by the corresponding carrier agents.

Return Policy:

If you are not completely satisfied with a product purchased from Swegwayfun, you may return it within 14 days of the delivery date for refund (to your original form of payment only) if qualified (eligibility conditions listed below). Swegwayfun will either repair or replace defective products at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts are our discretion. Replacements may be different but functionally equivalent models. All shipping, handling, and insurance charges are additional and non-refundable. Normally, all returns for non-defective reasons (e.g. customer changed mind) are subject to a restocking fee up to 30%. This fee does not apply to defective product returned within the first 14 days. For all returns shipping must be prepaid, insured and bearing a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number on the shipping label and/or container. Any shipping charges incurred when returning product to Swegwayfun are the responsibility of the customer. Fill out our returns form as We cannot accept returns without a properly filled in  return form. Returned products must be undamaged, clean, and in otherwise new condition with all original materials i.e. original packaging, manuals and accessories, and must be accompanied by the original invoice.

Warranty Information:

Each Swegway comes with a 1-Year manufacturer warranty against mechanical defects (limitations and terms below). 

NOTE: WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER WATER OR CRASH DAMAGE. If the exterior of your Hoverboard is damaged or the internal seals are broken your warranty is void. We can quickly and easily see where a Hoverboard has been crashed due to scratches on the body of the board. Crash or accidental damage isn't covered under warranty repairs. You will be liable to pay the shipping costs to return your Swegway back to us if the damage isn't covered under warranty. This total cost is £17.98. We will quote for repair costs once our technicians have conducted diagnostics on your board.

Warranty Limitations:

This Limited Warranty covers the original purchaser from any defects in material or workmanship under normal use for one year from the date of invoice. This warranty is only offered to the original purchaser of the product, and is not transferable to a subsequent purchaser. Hoverboard left unused for more than 90 days without charging would result in a new battery being required. this is not covered under warranty as such a fee of £49.99 will be due.  ( Before storing your SWEGWAY, fully charge the battery to avoid over discharging due to non-use. Discharge and recharge the battery every three months ). For all other Fault under warranty, Swegwayfun will either repair or replace the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts at our discretion. Replacements may be different but functionally equivalent models. This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. These conditions may include, but are not limited to, road hazards, accidents, and improper operation or maintenance. Items returned for refund must be returned within 30 days from delivery. Under no circumstances will we issue refunds after 30 days of delivery.

Limits and Exclusions:

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WARRANTIES ON ALL PRODUCTS AND REMEDIES SET FORTH IN PRODUCT USER MANUAL ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. AS PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SWEGWAYFUN SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS. IF SWEGWAYFUN CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY AND TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICE AS DETERMINED BY SWEGWAYFUN IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION. NO RESELLER, AGENT, OR EMPLOYEE IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATION, EXTENSION, OR ADDITION TO THIS WARRANTY. IF ANY TERM(S) IS HELD ILLEGAL OR UNENFORCEABLE, THE LEGALITY AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THE REMAINING TERMS SHALL NOT BE AFFECTED OR IMPAIRED. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SWEGWAYFUN IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, COMPROMISE, OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH THE PRODUCT AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCT. THE FOREGOING LIMITATION SHALL NOT APPLY TO DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS, OR ANY STATUTORY LIABILITY FOR INTENTIONAL AND GROSS NEGLIGENT ACTS AND/OR OMISSIONS. SWEGWAYFUN DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATION THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR MAKE A PRODUCT EXCHANGE, AND IS UNABLE TO RECOVER ANY USER SOFTWARE OR DATA ON THE DEVICE.

Cancellations:

If you have placed an order, it has not yet shipped, and you wish to cancel, please forward your order confirmation to info@segwayfun.uk to request cancel. Since the cancellation process may take up to 24 hours, please note that any orders that do ship in the meantime will have to be rejected and/or returned to us. Any shipping charges incurred when returning product to Swegwayfun are the responsibility of the customer. Furthermore, if received, the box should remain unopened. Once we receive the returned order, the refund will be processed within 48 hours. Shipping charge is not refundable. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

 

Wear & Tear

Everyday use of our products will inevitably cause wear and tear which is not covered by any money back guarantee or our limited warranty.
